EDZ layers combine to create a versatile layering system for use over varying temperatures that is not bulky & allows the wearer to choose the best combination for the prevailing conditions. Riding a motorcycle is not much fun if you are not comfortable, if you are too hot or too cold, if you are freezing or your skin is sticking to the linings of your leathers. The EDZ range has been developed specifically for the motorcyclist who may be wearing close fitting outer layers across varying temperatures, conditions and speeds.

Q. Do the EDZ all season base layers get smelly?
A. Some base layers can get really smelly after a short while. The EDZ sports base layer / undersuit fabric has a natural anti bacterial action and are pretty good in the odour department but like any item of clothing worn next to the skin a regular rinse out is a good idea and they are really easy to wash and dry out quickly.
Q. What are the all season base layers / undersuits like for washing?
A. Wash as for polyester @ max 40 degrees C, avoid hot tumble driers. These wash and rinse out really easily & will be practically dry when they come out from the spin cycle. For travelling / touring; at night rinse then hang out to dry & by morning they should be ready wear.
Q. Are the all season base layer / undersuits suitable for winter use?
A. These can been worn as a winter thermal as well as a summer base.
Q. How warm are the EDZ base layers?
A. EDZ all season base layers are made from a light performance a mesh fabric and in cold conditions these small spaces trap warm air next to the skin and keep you warm. This gives the sports base layer relatively high thermal insulation for the weight and thickness of the fabric.
Q. Can I wear all season base layers in hot conditions?
A. In hot conditions the 'All Season Base Layer' manages moisture and dries quickly creating a cooling effect. Under protective clothing these can also act as a barrier between sweaty skin and other layers, preventing chafing and rubbing .
Q. Do EDZ ‘all season base layers’ work in hot conditions?
A. EDZ all season base layer material has good thermal properties for its weight and can be used in cold conditions.

A. The Merino base layer is more suited to colder conditions, whereas the All season base layer can be worn in hot and cold.
